Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team, ensuring accountability for savings and productivity targets.
  • Oversee logistics functions such as inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and customer service.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Quality, Planning, Procurement, and Manufacturing to identify and address logistics-related quality and service challenges.
  • Assist in formulating the logistics budget, focusing on continuous performance improvement.
  • Coordinate operational redesign initiatives to enhance performance and meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor fixed assets and manage the implementation of approved capital improvement projects.
  • Communicate standard logistics metrics to team members.
  • Resolve issues related to quality, service, and costs.
  • Support the management of inventory levels.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, logistics, military, or a related field.
  • Prior supervisory experience is required.
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Familiarity with TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, think critically, and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
