We are seeking a dedicated Ramp Safety Coordinator to support our Ramp and Transportation Department. This administrative role involves overseeing compliance with driver Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborating with the department to ensure safety and regulatory adherence.
Main Responsibilities- Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of drivers
- Responsible for updating and maintaining all driver files
- Processing of all Port Authority/Customs identifications
- Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures
- Assist the Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain Airport SIDA badge and CBP Customs Seal within 30 days of hire
- 3-5 years of safety experience preferred; AOA ramp experience may be substituted year for year for Safety experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and other computer applications
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with large groups – must be flexible
