Ardaman has the following opportunity available:


DRILLER

Full-time position working out of Ardaman's Fort Myers, FL office. Perform soil test borings with mud-rotary and auger drilling equipment, obtain accurate logs and soil samples for laboratory analysis and engineering evaluations. Work is outdoors in all weather conditions. The work is generally physically demanding.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols

• Operate and maintain drilling equipment, including rotary drills and augers

• Supervise drilling assistants and other personnel at the drill site

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of drilling activities

• Prepare field boring logs and package soil samples for laboratory analysis

• Classify soils in the field and ensure accurate documentation

• Measure test boring locations and ensure precise placement

• Obtain drilling core samples and maintain equipment

• Perform routine maintenance on drill rig equipment

• Complete other duties as assigned by management

**Requirements:**

• Proven experience in geotechnical drilling

• Class A or B CDL license

• Strong mechanical skills and ability to operate complex equipment

• Excellent driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering site plans

• Ability to pass company background checks, including a drug screen

• Local candidates preferred; no relocation assistance
