Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Driller to work out of our Fort Myers, FL office. As a Driller, you will be responsible for performing soil test borings with mud-rotary and auger drilling equipment, obtaining accurate logs and soil samples for laboratory analysis and engineering evaluations.

Responsibilities
  • Operate drilling equipment, including rotary drill and auger drill, to collect soil samples and logs.
  • Supervise drilling assistants and other personnel at the drill site to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of drilling activities, including soil samples and logs.
  • Prepare field boring logs and package soil samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Classify soils in the field and measure test boring locations.
  • Maintain drill rig equipment and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Geotechnical drilling experience and a Class A or B CDL license.
  • Excellent mechanical skills and ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering site plans.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and company background checks, including a drug screen.
  • Local candidates preferred; no relocation assistance.
