Creative Production Manager (Remote)

Position Overview:

The Creative Production Manager is a pivotal role that entails overseeing modifications and enhancements to current materials, crafting and applying design templates, and organizing files for distribution and production. This position demands a production specialist who operates with precision and guarantees the utmost accuracy during the final phases of design execution. The perfect candidate will be exceptionally organized, detail-focused, and a superb communicator, committed to optimizing existing workflows and applying industry-leading practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in tandem with the Creative Operations Lead to oversee the creative production workflow for both print and digital initiatives, ensuring prompt and precise delivery while upholding the highest quality standards across all outputs.
  • Identify and articulate project challenges proactively, brainstorming and executing solutions, and escalating issues as needed to mitigate disruptions in creative processes.
  • Encourage a culture of teamwork, responsibility, and ongoing enhancement.
  • Skillfully manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment, consistently demonstrating outstanding attention to detail.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance evaluations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across the production team before final output.
  • Translate and adapt established creative concepts into production-ready assets for print, web, and digital platforms.
  • Comply with all established standards and procedures, including file naming conventions, creative release protocols, and appropriate file storage practices.
  • Assist the internal creative team with various design-related tasks, including layout development, template creation, image resizing or cropping, retouching, and file conversion across different software applications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers to secure cost-effective, high-quality production services, ensuring final products meet specifications.
  • Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in creative leadership, preferably within an in-house agency or similar setting.
  • At least 7 years of experience in creative and production execution across various marketing channels.
  • In-depth knowledge of print and digital production processes, including prepress, printing, digital media, and post-production.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), and Microsoft Office (Experience with XD and Figma is advantageous).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a global context.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a strong inclination towards initiating actions, streamlining workflows, and demonstrating exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Ability to guide and mentor creative execution while critically assessing work streams for efficiency.
  • A robust creative and professional portfolio showcasing creative execution capabilities and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

  • Extensive experience in navigating the complexities of highly regulated sectors.
  • Adept at thriving in and adapting to remote work settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in transforming raw data into visually engaging narratives and easily interpretable formats for effective communication.
