Job Summary

ANR Group Inc is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Planner III to join our team in Richland, WA. This is a unique opportunity to work on large- and small-scale projects in a nuclear environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare mechanical work packages for the Nuclear Projects organization to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient project execution.
  • Select and approve purchase or make procurement recommendations for all materials needed for work package execution.
  • Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities.
  • Interface and collaborate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to identify and resolve work package issues.
  • Define procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials required to perform planned work packages.
  • Verify work instructions are adequate and comply with all applicable station procedures.
  • Approve and review all required work packages to ensure safety, high quality, technical rigor, and compliance with regulations.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of six years of experience in a technical area (i.e. maintenance, engineering, operations, maintenance planning).
  • OR An associate's degree from an accredited college or university and eight years of experience in a technical area.
  • OR A high school diploma or GED and technical training or education similar to that acquired through an in-grade apprenticeship program for maintenance related work and six years of experience in a technical area.
  • OR A high school diploma or GED and ten years of experience in a technical area.
  • Able to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Able to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
Working Knowledge
  • Nuclear power plant work management and planning process.
  • Safety regulations associated with a power plant environment.
  • ALARA requirements.
  • Nuclear Security operations, regulations, and requirements.
