We are seeking a skilled Clinical Educator Nursing to join our Adult Oncology team at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Assess the competency of new nursing staff members and focus on quality of care and patient safety goals.
  • Integrate theoretical knowledge, evidence-based principles, and clinical nursing expertise into educational experiences for both new and experienced team members.
  • Prepare annual self-development plans, set professional goals, and seek opportunities for achieving them.
  • Contribute to quality and safety initiatives across the organization.
Requirements
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday schedule.
  • Location: Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Education, or a relevant field.
  • 2 years of progressive experience in nursing in the designated specialty.
  • 3 months of experience serving as a preceptor.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Specialty certification in the area related to the unit's clinical scope within one year of hire.
  • Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
