Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in their daily activities and deliver essential nursing care and personal support in line with established healthcare protocols, under the guidance of supervisors in our assisted living and health services departments.

Work Schedule: Part-time - day and evening shifts with alternating weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality CNA services that fulfill and surpass resident expectations.
  • Commit to excellence in executing nurse aide duties.
  • Focus on person-centered care to enhance resident well-being.
  • Engage in daily resident assessments with the staff nurse before each shift.
  • Manage assigned case loads as directed by the supervisor.
  • Assist residents with medication as per assignment.
  • Support residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Conduct routine checks on residents to ensure their personal care needs are met.
  • Facilitate wheelchair mobility and assist residents with transfers to and from appointments and activities.
  • Help with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents in various settings.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional health to the staff nurse.
  • Identify and report any skin issues.
  • Provide a report to the staff nurse at the conclusion of each shift.
  • Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a nursing home, assisted living facility, or home health agency is preferred.
