PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer interaction duties, including:
welcoming clients, managing phone inquiries, and directing clients and their pets to consultation areas.

  • Organizing and verifying appointment schedules
  • Conducting follow-up calls and reaching out to potential clients
  • Communicating and clarifying service fees, including handling payment transactions
  • Advising on and procuring products and services, including medications
  • Responding to inquiries about products and services, while educating clients on general pet care and non-medical advice (e.g., heartworm prevention, house training, flea & tick management)
  • Overseeing medical documentation, records, reports, and correspondence

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of one year of demonstrated experience in customer support
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent qualification
  • Strong listening and communication abilities
  • Empathy for animals and clients, along with an understanding of their reactions
  • Proven ability to make informed decisions regarding appropriate actions
  • Capability to assimilate new information for effective problem-solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and manage exposure to potential hazards associated with animals, such as allergies, infectious diseases, sounds, odors, bites, scratches, and animal waste

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
