Compensation:
$23-$25/hour, based on experience, with potential bonuses.

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, with rotating on-call duties.

Responsibilities:
This Mobile Facilities Maintenance Specialist will oversee maintenance across multiple properties. Your role will include performing both interior and exterior preventative and repair maintenance tasks at various apartment communities. Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing daily tasks and responsibilities across multiple communities.
  • Addressing maintenance requests, conducting inspections, and performing preventative maintenance.
  • Utilizing hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Participating in move-in and move-out inspections.
  • Maintaining an inventory of essential personal tools.
  • Organizing and using supplies efficiently.
  • Responding to on-call service requests and emergencies as needed.
  • Communicating effectively with residents and team members.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:
Experience:
A minimum of one year of maintenance technician experience is required, with multifamily experience preferred. Basic knowledge in two or more trades such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, or painting is preferred.

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Candidates should be able to perform basic mathematical functions. EPA Universal Certification and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification are preferred.

Skills:
Basic computer skills and familiarity with resident management software are preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and may be required to climb. Regular tasks will involve sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, and reaching with various body parts. Specific vision requirements include the ability to focus on close and distant objects.

This is a full-time position that may require working nights, weekends, and holidays. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required, as travel to various properties within the assigned market will be necessary.
