The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment, as well as performing general facilities maintenance, service, and repairs to equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements, including Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies, and operating procedures.
  • Perform monthly preventive maintenance and inspections on all major facility equipment.
  • Apply skills, experience, and general knowledge to troubleshoot, adjust, install, repair, dissemble, replace, and reassemble equipment or facilities.
  • Provide guidance to other facility technicians.
  • Support the Facilities Manager, assisting when absent or when needed.
  • Work with outside contractors when necessary, including procuring parts and services.
  • Delegate work requests by coordinating team efforts and performing all general maintenance functions.
  • May assist other departments and engineers with facility and mechanical tasks.
  • Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Investigate, develop, and implement new process technologies of small to moderate scope.
  • Devises new solutions to problems encountered.
  • Work independently to perform and complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.
  • May perform training of associates on production equipment.
  • May identify electrical issues in systems or equipment as they occur.
  • May perform unsupervised walk-throughs of facilities to monitor, check, and report on conditions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum Experience: 10 years of maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Deep knowledge of refrigeration and mechanical systems and solid trouble-shooting skills. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic pressure systems. Excellent mechanical and basic electrical knowledge, aptitude, and principles required. Knowledge of CMMS and building automation systems is preferred.
  • Special Skills: Knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office applications. Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment and work with other departments.
