Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Duty Nurse to join our team at ECMC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and coordination of nursing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized care plans for patients
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing various medical procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State is required, as well as Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from an approved ECMC provider.
