School Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and coordination of school nursing services across multiple schools and buildings.
- Liaise with nursing staff, medical directors, athletic directors, school physicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Manage nursing schedules, secure coverage for absences, and oversee summer responsibilities.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to school health services.
- Coordinate and participate in district safety meetings, communicating updates and changes to nursing staff.
- Provide training and mentorship to new nurses and staff members.
- Manage supply orders, equipment servicing, and other items related to school health services.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a school setting with a strong understanding of school nursing duties and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and human relations skills.
