Overview:

The primary role of a non-IT project manager involves orchestrating, directing, or coordinating activities across various sectors such as engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product launches, among others.

Daily Responsibilities:

The management team is dedicated to overseeing device management, which is divided into two main areas: product management and engineering, with engineering comprising a significant portion of the team. The focus is on a product known for its technical complexity.

Key Initiatives:

• Organizing team events for employees across different regions, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. The goal is to facilitate large gatherings that foster teamwork and strategic discussions.

• The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the execution of these significant events, emphasizing project management skills, including status tracking, content organization, and ensuring seamless on-site operations.

Task Overview and Workflow:

• Collaborating primarily with sponsors, executive assistants, and business managers to oversee the logistics of upcoming team events.

• Maintaining communication with various stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of events, including follow-ups and updates.

• Managing content related to events, which includes curating and refining information provided by sponsors for dissemination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate various projects, creating detailed plans to achieve objectives and overseeing the integration of technical activities.

• Present and articulate proposals, reports, and findings to stakeholders.

• Recruit, assign, and evaluate team members, ensuring the development and maintenance of staff competencies.

• Assess technology, resource requirements, and market trends to evaluate project feasibility.

• Collaborate with management, production, and marketing teams to discuss project specifications and methodologies.

• Review and endorse contracts and cost estimates.

Required Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.

• Capacity to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Understanding of production processes, quality assurance, cost management, and techniques for optimizing manufacturing and distribution.

• Familiarity with business and management principles related to strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methodologies.

• Proficiency in software applications such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline.

• PMI or PMP certification is advantageous.

• A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience is required.
