Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at GoldenWolf, LLC. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in facility condition assessments of building electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed building reports describing condition of building systems and their major components using existing data.
  • Use existing data to develop reports that inform planners of current building conditions.
  • Make recommendations and assist in defining scope for projects to rehabilitate facilities.
  • Use knowledge of building electrical systems to develop projects for repair and rehabilitation of facilities.
  • Provide training for new or junior field technicians.
  • Develop Recapitalization Reports for large medical facilities.
  • Ensure accurate data collection to reflect field-observed conditions.
  • Attend, prepare, and present briefings as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the Lead Engineering and Program Managers to manage all contractual obligations, timely deliverables, travel arrangements, and field operations.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited 4-year program is required.
  • 3+ years of technical experience with project development and/or execution of installation or replacement of electrical equipment in facilities, preferred.
  • Previous project experience performing facility assessment projects for municipal, state, and Federal entities is preferred.
  • Electrical engineers shall be capable of understanding low and medium-voltage distribution systems and have a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70).
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a favorable Department of Defense (DoD) Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with medical facilities is a plus.
  • Experience in the construction and/or facilities management fields is highly preferred.
  • Experience creating comprehensive reports with engineering-based recommendations is preferred.
  • Experience with the BUILDER SMS or other SMS software platforms is preferred.
