Job Summary:

The General Counsel will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of the company, including contract negotiations, litigation, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of the law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to minimize risk and maximize business opportunities.
  • Provide guidance on compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including employment law, intellectual property law, and data privacy law.
  • Manage and oversee the company's litigation portfolio, including the selection and management of outside counsel.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement business strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a General Counsel or in a similar role.
  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school and membership in good standing to at least one US state bar.
  • Strong understanding of the law and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
