Job Opportunity: Behavior Specialist

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide essential support to students with behavioral challenges in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as designed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students to promote positive behavior and learning.
  • Collect and record data on student behavior and progress according to established protocols.
  • Assist in the analysis of data to adjust and improve intervention strategies.
  • Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student needs.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide input on student progress and behavior management strategies.
  • Support students in developing social skills, coping mechanisms, and academic engagement.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention strategies as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs, particularly in a school setting, is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in data collection and documentation.
