Fairview Health Services is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. This is a 64-hour per two weeks position on the Evening shift, with every other weekend and eligibility for benefits such as medical, dental, and more.
Responsibilities- Assist professional nurses in delivering patient care, transporting patients and equipment, and maintaining patient rooms.
- Provide basic patient care, including personal grooming, bathing, toileting, feeding, skin care, and oral hygiene.
- Collect specimens, take vital signs, and accurately document patient information.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges, and orient patients and families to the environment.
- Transport patients, equipment, and supplies, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers) certification required.
- One or more of the following: successful completion of Fairview's OnTrack Nursing Assistant training program, six months of recent direct care experience, current enrollment in an LPN, RN, or Nurse Practitioner program, or current certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
