Speech Pathologist Per Diem Opportunity

The Speech-Language Pathologist (Home Care) will administer prescribed speech-language therapy plans of care to restore function, prevent disability, and promote maximum activity performance. This role requires a Master's or doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathologist license. A minimum of six months of clinical experience is required, with a preference for experience in acute care, acute rehabilitation, sub-acute rehabilitation, long-term care, and/or outpatient rehabilitation.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients to restore speech and language function
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide patient and family/caregiver education and support
- Conduct assessments and discharges
- Make safety and equipment recommendations
- Master's or doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Minimum of six months of clinical experience
- Experience in acute care, acute rehabilitation, sub-acute rehabilitation, long-term care, and/or outpatient rehabilitation
The Home Care Speech-Language Pathologist will work in patients' homes, requiring the ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, carry, walk, ascend/descend stairs, and manage therapy-related equipment.
