Job Title: Community Development Communications Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Development Communications Coordinator to join our team. As a member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement effective communication strategies to support community development initiatives.

About the Position:

  • This is a full-time 12-month position with AmeriCorps VISTA, starting in October.
  • The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 per year, including a $1,000 monthly housing allowance.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to support community development initiatives. This includes improving social media engagement, promoting a national peer-learning conference for community developers, and administering the Community Development Voice cohort.

In addition, you will create and distribute printed materials, improve database organization, and use metrics and testing to enhance communication efforts.
