Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Community Development Manager to join our team at the Assistant Secretary for Community Planning and Development. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing community development activities, analyzing issues, and implementing policies to promote affordable housing and community development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grant management, program evaluation, and policy analysis. You will work closely with grantees, HUD officials, and other stakeholders to provide support and assistance in meeting their local community development needs.

Responsibilities
  • Manage or monitor community development activities for compliance with program requirements
  • Work in grant application, grant delivery, and/or grant execution with community development programs
  • Analyze issues and translate/implement community development policies
Requirements
  • GS-13 level experience with specialized experience in community development, grant management, and policy analysis
  • Time-in-grade requirement: 52 weeks at the GS-12 level
  • U.S. citizenship or national status
  • Background investigation required
