Key Responsibilities:
As a Lead Audit Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing an audit framework to independently assess the accuracy and completeness of data across various CFO coverage areas.
  • Engaging in projects of moderate to high complexity, ensuring thorough testing of data from its origin to final reporting systems.
  • Conducting high-quality, risk-focused fieldwork in line with Corporate Audit methodologies to identify significant issues and risks related to data management.
  • Maintaining clear and precise documentation while completing tasks efficiently and on schedule.
  • Collaborating with the audit team to draft comprehensive audit reports and effectively communicate findings to business leaders.
  • Utilizing critical thinking to influence management positively and enhance the control environment.
  • Supporting team development through on-the-job training during audit execution.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Assisting with key regulatory matters concerning data management.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in fields such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or Finance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Audit, Risk, or Data management.

Preferred Qualifications:
Desirable attributes include:

  • Experience in data analytics, mining, or automation.
  • Familiarity with Bank of America’s business processes and application systems.
  • A background in audit or risk control within financial services.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools (SQL, SAS, Python, Alteryx, Advanced Excel).
  • Advanced degrees or certifications (CIA, CISA, CPA preferred).

Shift:
This position operates on a standard first shift schedule.
