YOUR ROLE AS A CONSTRUCTION TRAINEE / GLASS INSTALLATION ESTIMATOR
This entry-level role spans a 6-month internship with work hours from Monday to Friday.
In this position, you will acquire essential skills to embark on a rewarding career. Under the mentorship of our experienced professionals, you will learn the intricacies of the estimation process. As a quick learner with a curious mindset, you will analyze blueprints and documentation to fully grasp our projects. You will develop an analytical approach to determine how various production factors impact overall costs, ensuring precise labor and material estimates.
Our estimation team will guide you as you build connections and foster productive relationships with vendors and contractors. You will manage bids and utilize bid data to create detailed cost analyses for each project. As you progress, you will compile and document actual costs, gaining valuable experience in presenting estimates to management and stakeholders. Each day will present new learning opportunities, making this paid internship a pivotal step in your career journey.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with fractions
- Proficiency in using a tape measure
