Job Summary:

The primary function of this role is to serve as a liaison between Excelacare and the community, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to meet the needs of patients and customers.

This position requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement sales strategies to establish and expand business in the assigned region. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with discharge planners, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales strategies to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Provide counsel to Excelacare on community needs, program development, and personnel requirements.
  • Implement processes to identify and track referrals related to specialist contacts.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans, business plans, and sales strategies to achieve identified targets of opportunity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with discharge planners, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in job fairs and other community events to promote Excelacare's services.
  • Conduct presentations to associations and organizations to increase awareness of Excelacare's services.
  • Assist other locations as needed to provide direction and communication with other business development representatives.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Three to five years' experience in home health or medical background preferred.
  • Driver's license and proof of current auto liability insurance.
  • No listing in the OIG Excluded Provider Listing.
  • Good standing on state nurse aide registry or requirements of a state licensure program meeting federal regulations.
Working Conditions:

This role requires working in patients' homes in various conditions, with possible exposure to blood and body fluids and infectious diseases. The ability to work flexible schedules, travel locally, and withstand moderate noise levels is essential.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with discharge planners, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
