Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that support Care Alliance's mission and goals, enhancing public awareness and stakeholder engagement.

• Oversee branding initiatives to ensure consistency across all platforms and materials, maintaining a cohesive and positive image for the organization.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, cultivate relationships with media outlets, and manage press releases, statements, and other public-facing communications.

• Lead digital communications, including website content, social media channels, and digital campaigns, ensuring that all content aligns with the organization's strategic goals and reaches target audiences effectively.

• Develop and execute internal communication plans to keep staff informed and engaged, ensuring clear messaging on organizational priorities, initiatives, and updates.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to create and implement crisis communication plans, addressing urgent situations with transparency and control to protect the organization's reputation.

• Coordinate communication efforts for community events, public speaking engagements, and partnerships, representing Care Alliance and amplifying its impact.

• Oversee the creation of engaging content for newsletters, blogs, reports, and other publications, highlighting organizational achievements and fostering donor support.

• Track and analyze communication metrics to measure effectiveness, providing regular reports and insights to inform ongoing strategy and improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.

• Minimum of 7 years in communications, public relations, or a related role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management position, ideally in healthcare or nonprofit settings.

• Proven experience managing media relations and digital communication channels, including social media, websites, and digital campaigns.

• Strong background in strategic communication planning and crisis management, with demonstrated ability to handle high-stakes situations effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, content management systems (CMS), social media management tools, and data analysis software to measure communication effectiveness.
