Job Overview

Swan Home Comfort is on the lookout for skilled HVAC Service Technicians to join our team. We value professionals with a background in Residential Service HVAC and a knack for consultative sales. The ideal candidate should possess a positive demeanor, be self-motivated, punctual, and demonstrate professionalism and enthusiasm. A valid driver's license is essential for this role.

Compensation: We offer competitive salaries ranging from $80,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on experience, along with performance bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose system malfunctions and recommend effective repair strategies; provide customers with detailed cost estimates.
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting of HVAC systems, ensuring proper planning and documentation of services performed.
  • Adhere to company safety protocols and quality standards in all tasks.
  • Manage inventory on service vehicles, ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are available for each job.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development meetings.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Technician, with a preference for those with residential sales and service experience.
  • Self-driven and competitive, with a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with an engaging personality.
  • Proficient in setting clear job expectations for customers.
  • Basic math skills are essential.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Demonstrated reliability and a stable work history.
  • Must maintain a clean driving record.
  • EPA Universal certification is preferred; EPA Type 2 certification is required.
  • NATE certification is a plus but not mandatory.
Work Environment:
  • This role involves working in diverse settings, including residential properties and outdoor environments, often on uneven terrain.
  • Regular use of hands for handling tools and equipment is required.
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, and lifting up to 50 pounds may be necessary.
  • Work may be performed in varying weather conditions.
  • Specific vision and hearing abilities are required for this position.
