Job Title: Associate Category Manager, Central and West Grocery

Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Associate Category Manager to support our Central and West Coast Grocery business. As a key member of our Category Management team, you will be responsible for providing category management support to our Grocery channel, including weekly and monthly sales and category reporting, trend analysis, item ranking reporting, category review and reset process, shopper panel reporting metrics, and special analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide category management support to Ocean Spray's business for the Grocery channel
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
  • Utilize advanced Excel reporting and PowerPoint skills to create effective data visualizations and presentations
  • Partner with Ocean Spray sales team to develop insights and presentations directed toward generating increased sales and communicating insights
  • Evaluate assortment opportunities and perform space to sales analyses to recommend best-in-class shelving strategies
  • Approach projects with confidence and apply creativity and project management skills through ideation and development
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of Category Management experience, Food and Beverage preferred
  • Expertise with IRI/Nielsen POS is a must; experience with IRI Shopper Sights preferred
  • Highly proficient and efficient in advanced Excel reporting and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with retailer loyalty card data knowledge is preferred
  • JDA or space planning software experience is preferred
  • Strong analytic skills with a high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Ability to sell an idea persuasively and collaborate with others
