Job Responsibilities
- Execute brake systems, suspension work, tire installations, routine maintenance, and various automotive repairs within your qualifications.
- Obtain customer consent for repairs based on your assessments while ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections on every vehicle serviced and carry out necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Safely operate guest vehicles for test drives and utilize our shop vehicle for inventory pickups as required.
- Collaborate with team members and provide guidance to General Service Technicians.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
- Ownership of a basic set of automotive tools or participation in a tool purchase program.
- Ability to work with hands above shoulder level, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- A customer-focused mindset and team-oriented attitude.
- Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector's license where applicable.
- ASE certification in at least one of the A1-A8 categories.
- Automotive Technician State Inspector License.
- Completion of an automotive technical school program or degree.
