Job Summary:The Project Specialist will provide support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential, vocational, or in-home settings. The successful candidate will have a strong background in human services and experience in behavior modification techniques.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential, vocational, or in-home settings.
- Conduct structured assessment interviews with parents/care providers and review social history information.
- Develop and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and behavior intervention plans.
- Document progress and activity, complete billing documentation, and report medical, behavioral, and other incidents.
- Support and train staff in implementing ISPs and behavior intervention plans.
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field.
- Training in behavior modification techniques and/or experience providing behavior management treatment.
- Knowledge of specialized populations, such as individuals with developmental disabilities, brain injury, or mental health.
- Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance (if providing transportation for individuals receiving services).
