Student Success Specialist Evening and Weekend Shift

KVC Health Systems is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Success Specialist to join our team. As a Student Success Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal growth of youth in our care.
Job Summary:The Student Success Specialist will provide individualized support to students, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development. This role requires a strong commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment, promoting positive relationships, and fostering a sense of community among students.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide academic support and guidance to students, including tutoring, study groups, and academic planning.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.
- Facilitate group activities and workshops to promote social skills, life skills, and character development.
- Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas of strength and need for additional support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, including schools, social services, and healthcare providers.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of program policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and KVC Health Systems' policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, education, or counseling.
- At least 2 years of experience working with youth, preferably in a residential or educational setting.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and community partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of de-escalation techniques and crisis management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
