About the Job

Hillcrest Children & Family Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Engagement Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing family engagement strategies that promote positive relationships between schools, families, and community organizations.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and facilitating communication between the Engagement Office, school personnel, families, and partners.
  • Conducting universal screenings to promote early identification of health issues and providing relevant support and resources.
  • Participating in the school support team and other entities to promote the socio-emotional and academic wellness of students.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years' experience in systems change, community organizing, communications, or development in a nonprofit, government, or business setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make effective public presentations.
  • Strong organization skills, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills that emphasize team building.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K retirement plan, paid time off, and life insurance.
