Job Opportunity: Lead Parenting Skills Specialist in Washington, D.C.
Estimated Salary:$55,000 - $70,000 per year
The Ladgov Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Parenting Skills Specialist to lead its innovative 12-session course in Washington, D.C. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and deliver engaging and interactive programs that equip fathers with essential parenting skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Design and implement evidence-based curricula that focus on fatherhood, parenting, communication, and family dynamics.
- Program Coordination: Schedule and facilitate program courses, workshops, and activities for eligible participants.
- Participant Support: Provide individualized coaching and support to participants, addressing their unique needs and challenges related to fatherhood and family dynamics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience in program development, coordination, and facilitation, particularly in the areas of fatherhood, parenting, family dynamics, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and approaches related to fatherhood programs and offender reentry.
