A Policy and Public Health Specialist conducts in-depth research and analysis to inform effective public health initiatives and drive policy reforms. This role requires a deep understanding of health policy and its impact on public health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive policy analysis and evaluate the impact of health policies on public health outcomes.
  • Develop targeted recommendations for policy changes based on research findings and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to advance public health initiatives.
  • Monitor legislative developments and stay up-to-date on public health trends and best practices.
  • Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.

Requirements
  • Masters degree in Public Health, Health Policy, or a related field.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze complex data.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare systems and policy issues, including current trends and challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and recommendations.
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This estimate is based on national averages and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
