  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area, stockroom, and other areas as assigned.
  • Assist customers with bulk products, answer questions about products, and provide recommendations as needed.
  • Process sales transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including cash handling and security protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements and Conditions:

  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts accurately, including discounts, gross margins, and percentages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Pass a standard drug test and qualify as being drug-free under the legal and medical guidelines permitted by the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988.
