Certified Medication Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Medication Aide to join our team at Magnolia Springs Lexington. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing medication assistance and support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medication assistance to residents in accordance with state regulations and company policy.
- Maintain the medication cart and storage room in a neat and orderly manner.
- Ensure accurate medication counts and the security of the medication cart and storage room.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
- Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care and medication assistance.
- Respond promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
- Uphold Residents' Rights and support company policies and care philosophy.
- Observe residents for changes in condition and report promptly to a licensed nurse.
- Complete documentation as requested and in a timely manner.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-year of previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members.
- Must be able to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must complete Medication Aide training and certification in states where required.
