Principal Electrical Engineer

As a Principal Electrical Engineer at Raytheon, you will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in the development of test solutions for all Raytheon products. You will design, develop, and integrate electrical systems, test interface adapters, cabling, and technical drawings. Your expertise in electrical engineering design, analysis, and test will be essential in resolving issues associated with the development and implementation of test products. You will contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, including technical, cost, and schedule management. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems, test interface adapters, cabling, and technical drawings
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in the development of test solutions
- Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, including technical, cost, and schedule management
- Resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and five (5) years of relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- Experience with electrical engineering design, analysis, and test
- Experience with commonly used electrical engineering design and analysis tools
- Experience with commonly used test equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Ability to provide technical leadership in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design
- Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnect
- Experience utilizing integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot software

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
