Job Title: RF Engineer

Shield AI is seeking a highly skilled RF Engineer to join our team. As a RF Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and verification of our VBAT RF systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the design and testing of RF systems for V-BAT aircraft, including analysis of antenna placement, RF co-site analysis, and mitigation of onboard interference signals.
  • Identify and comprehend the mechanisms responsible for interference signals, developing effective mitigation solutions that meet size, weight, and power constraints.
  • Drive improvements in design, testing, and compliance processes within the RF team.
  • Execute test procedures and requirements.
  • Develop automated test solutions to enhance efficiency and precision in our testing processes.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement within hardware development projects, proposing and implementing innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and overall project success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience as an electrical engineer, including full-time, internship, co-op, or engineering club experience.
  • Experience with circuit analysis, test, and use of test equipment such as network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, and various RF probes.
  • Demonstrated track record of assuming ownership over development processes and features, delivering outstanding outcomes.
  • Proven track record of successfully shipping products, navigating development cycles, overcoming obstacles, and delivering high-quality solutions to meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working on cutting-edge autonomous robotic systems.
  • Proven background in thriving within fast-paced environments, particularly within startup or R&D settings.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, agility, and ability to innovate under pressure to meet dynamic project demands.
