Job Summary:

As a Patient Service Representative at Medicine Journal, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient and customer service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering and directing phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Scheduling patient appointments and managing the patient schedule
  • Registering patients and checking them in and out after their visit
  • Serving as a liaison between patients and clinical staff
  • Assisting with daily patient reminder calls and preparing medical records
  • Performing general office duties such as data entry and ordering medical supplies
  • Assisting with reports, chart audits, and other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • High School education or equivalent
  • One year of reception or general clerical experience
  • Medical terminology course desired
  • Training for computer competency
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior IDX/Invision training
