Job Summary

Crothall Healthcare is a leading provider of specialized support services to the healthcare industry. We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Fire Alarm System Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of fire alarm systems in healthcare, commercial, and industrial buildings
  • Service and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems and related equipment
  • Oversee and direct project completion deadlines, meet scheduling requirements, and exceed goals established by the fire alarm service superintendent
  • Ensure project results are achieved within financial and productivity budgets
  • Accurately complete and process paperwork required by the office and corporate management systems
  • Ensure equipment installation complies with manufacturer's requirements
  • Conduct testing and ensure required certifications are complete
  • Instruct and train personnel in service, repair, and system installation
  • Coordinate daily work schedules and direct daily tasks and productivity of assigned employees
  • Maintain inventory on vehicle
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, Fire Alarm System Theory, OSHA requirements, and industry standards for fire alarm systems installation
  • Experience with a variety of system manufacturers
  • Troubleshooting skills, including researching online, system manuals, schematics, and diagrams
  • Experience with conduit bending, understanding of blueprints, and wiring schematics and layout of system installations
  • Exceptional communication skills with customers, other field personnel, office staff, and sub-contractors and/or coworkers and management
  • Ability to adapt to changes in priorities, work assignments, and other interruptions
  • Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
  • Two to three years of experience in installation of low voltage systems
