Job Summary and Qualifications

The EMT Paramedic will gather and relay information to team members and attending physicians regarding patient health statuses.

The Paramedic will execute all responsibilities outlined in their job description and validated by competency assessments under the supervision of the Physician Medical Director.

Reporting to the Director of Emergency Services, the Paramedic will actively participate in the healthcare team through effective communication, documentation, and collaboration.

Key responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, attending required meetings, and contributing to personal and departmental growth. Maintaining positive relationships with patients, visitors, and colleagues is essential.

Qualifications:
  • Georgia Paramedic license is mandatory.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or equivalent must be obtained within the first year of employment.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within the first year of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
