Sales Representative

Monroe Tractor is a leading construction equipment and agricultural equipment dealer with a rich history of serving the northeastern US. With 18 locations across New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional sales and support to over 15,000 customers.
The Sales Representative is a key role in our organization, responsible for selling wholesale equipment to customers within their assigned territory. Successful candidates will establish strong relationships with customers, provide expert guidance on equipment management, and serve as a resource for resolving product issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage prospective customers to offer assistance or direction.
- Assist customers by asking questions and listening to their responses.
- Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers.
- Describe all equipment options available for customer purchases.
- Build strong rapport and long-lasting relationships with customers.
- Effectively overcome objections, close sales, and perform all steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
- Utilize the Client Relationship Management System (CRM) to manage customer interactions.

Requirements:
- Prior experience with heavy agriculture equipment and/or construction equipment.
- Proven sales success with achieved or exceeded goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and independent work ethic.
- Excellent customer service skills and relationship-building abilities.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- A strong sense of urgency and focus on time and territory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
