Responsibilities- Maintain Mail Services: Ensure seamless operation of postal services, including receipt, sorting, and delivery of mail to personnel stationed at McMurdo Station.
- Accountable Mail Management: Perform duties related to accountable mail, including tracking, scanning, and uploading information on AMPS.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to individuals requiring assistance with filing USPS insurance claims or other postal-related matters.
- Mailroom Operations: Supervise and maintain the mailroom, ensuring compliance with safety, security, and environmental regulations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of postal supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as necessary.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Certifications: AMPs account required or ability to obtain prior to employment, ServSafe Food Handler certificate, valid driver's license, and valid U.S. Passport.
- Experience: Two years of customer service experience required, basic computer skills with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases required.
