Gana-A'Yoo, Limited - Antarctic Program is seeking a highly skilled Antarctic Postal Operations Specialist to join our team.
About the Job:- As an Antarctic Postal Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising and operating the McMurdo Station APO in accordance with all applicable controlling authority standards.
- You will oversee the movement, sorting, and distribution of mail at McMurdo Station, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to recipients.
- In addition, you will order and control all postal supplies and equipment, processing all postal claims for McMurdo Station and the South Pole.
- Your expertise will also be utilized to provide postal assistance and perform postal assist visits for the South Pole per USAF APO regulations.
- Supervise and operate the McMurdo APO in accordance with DOD, USAF, U.S. Postal Service (USPS), Military Postal Service (MPS), Joint Military Postal Activity-PAC (JMPA-PAC), and 6005 AIRPS standards.
- Interpret, follow, and apply DOD, USAF, PACAF, U.S. Postal Service (USPS), Military Postal Service Agency (MPSA), Joint Military Postal Activity-PAC (JMPA-PAC), and PACAF AIRPS directives/policies as they pertain to the Military Postal Service (MPS), Air Force postal operations and financial issues in the PACAF command.
- Control, secure, and sell all postal stamp stocks and meter postage necessary for McMurdo Station, Antarctica post office.
- Perform financial audits for the Postal Clerk's stamp stocks and properly document the results of each audit.
