Job Title: Student Services Coordinator at GeorgiaGov
GeorgiaGov is seeking a detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Student Services Coordinator. This position is focused on executing specialized functions to enhance student services operations. The successful candidate will primarily work at designated locations with potential travel to various sites as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting students during enrollment and course adjustment periods;
- Organizing informative workshops for prospective students;
- Evaluating academic records and making admissions determinations;
- Responding to inquiries related to new student enrollment;
- Conducting outreach activities at educational institutions and career events;
- Managing community inquiries through multiple communication channels;
- Collaborating with faculty on student-related matters;
- Supporting the annual career fair hosted by the institution;
- Advising student organizations; and
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of technical education and academic programs;
- Familiarity with financial assistance processes;
- Understanding of applicable state and federal guidelines;
- Experience in budget oversight;
- Competence in computer systems and relevant software;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- An Associate's degree *and* three (3) years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Public Administration, or a related discipline with at least three years of customer service experience;
- Previous experience with administrative software systems.

Salary and Benefits:
Compensation will be determined based on educational background and work experience. Employee benefits include paid state holidays, annual and sick leave, along with the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits package.
