Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process mortgage loan applications, ensuring all documentation meets agency, GSEs, and company standards.
  • Verify borrower information, including credit, income, assets, and property details.
  • Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and title companies to gather necessary documentation and resolve any issues.
  • Maintain a detailed and organized loan file throughout the process.
  • Prepare and review closing documents, including the Closing Disclosure, to ensure accuracy and compliance with HUD guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with title companies, attorneys, and borrowers to schedule and conduct closings.
  • Ensure all closing conditions are met before disbursing funds.
  • Handle post-closing tasks, including recording and submitting files to HUD.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of mortgage banking experience is required.
  • Single Family mortgage lending experience is required.
  • Experience and technical experience with Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (FHLMC), Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA), Federal Housing Administration (FHA), U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), or other equivalent mortgage products are required.
  • Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation are required.
