Mortgage Loan Officer Job Description

First Financial Bank is seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for developing referral sources and maintaining an ongoing loan pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview loan applicants and gather necessary documents
  • Order credit reports and lock rates with investors
  • Run mortgage insurance and title closing quotes
  • Correspond with applicants, creditors, and third parties
  • Recommend and outline loan terms
  • Develop and maintain interest rate structures
  • Notify applicants of loan decisions

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
  • Good understanding of financial institution products and services
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
