Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse - LVN/LPN

Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse - LVN/LPN to join our team.

About the Role

As a Private Duty Nurse - LVN/LPN with Aveanna Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of our patients and their families. You will provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and providing medical care as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in our system of record
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
