Job Title: Private Duty Nurse LVN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LVN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, assisting them with transitioning from the hospital and ensuring they receive the continuous care they need to thrive.

Responsibilities:
  • Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conducting patient assessments and coordinating care
  • Administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Documenting care provided in our system of record
  • Teaching and training family members on health promotion and disease prevention
  • Communicating with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
Requirements:
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation
