Surgical Support Specialist / Private Practice

We are in search of a skilled Surgical Support Specialist for an immediate opportunity in Louisville, KY. Our multi-location Dental Specialist team is seeking a meticulous Dental/Surgical assistant to provide essential support to our oral surgeons while ensuring exceptional patient care. This role involves collaborating with oral surgeons and periodontists in clinical environments where oral surgery is frequently conducted.

Compensation Package:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the surgeon in executing surgical tasks
  • Collaborate closely with patients to enhance comfort and safety during procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize necessary instruments for the surgical team
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized workspace
  • Support the doctor during surgical interventions
  • Document specific instructions or procedures to be communicated to patients during or post-surgery

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience
  • Current CPR and ACLS certification required (can be arranged post-hire)
  • Experience with intraoral scanning is advantageous
