Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Account Specialist to join our team at First Citizens Bank. As an Insurance Account Specialist, you will be responsible for servicing and retaining insurance customers, providing exceptional customer service, and identifying sales growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to service requests and proactively identify customer needs
  • Manage new and existing customer activities, including policy check-in, renewals, cancellations, endorsements, and initial claim activity
  • Perform data entry, processing, and risk analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with all rules and regulations
  • Develop influential relationships with carriers and customers to achieve business goals and streamline service experience
  • Identify sales, coverage, and additional opportunities for existing customers
  • Responsible for marketing, quoting, and proposal preparation of customer insurance programs
  • Maintain customer notes and ensure proper follow-up and documentation through all elements of the relationship
  • Monitor claim activity for larger commercial risks and report to appropriate parties as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of experience in Support or Customer Service or Insurance Agency
  • High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in Support or Customer Service or Insurance Agency
  • Preferred Area of Experience: P&C Insurance
  • Required License or Certification Type: Property and Casualty License
  • Preferred Qualifications: Applied Epic software experience, more than five years in Large Commercial Insurance
